what are some of the best parks to have picnics with the family in colorado.

Chautauqua park in Boulder has some great views, historic buildings, and lots of green space.
Washington Park in Denver would also be a good place, especially if you're having a picnic with kids. There's a nice play area and a lake where you can feed the ducks.

If you like the mountains, you could go to Golden Gate Canyon State Park. I've picnicked there before and they have some very nice picnic areas. You could also go to the Brainard Lake Recreation area. That's in the mountains too and they also have some nice picnic areas.

anywhere in colorado? Because its a big place! If you come to Boulder, Colorado I would def visit Chitaqua (im not very sure how you spell it) It is so pretty, it located right by the mountains, so you could go hiking or somthing and the park is great, and its by where Jombenna Ramsey was killed..... historic!

You need to more specific to an area ie: metro Denver, Colorado Springs, etc.
