My family and I may move to Waco, Texas. My hubby and I have 3 young kids.
We live in the country in Mississippi. We're used to the country way of life and open spaces, no close neighbors. What kind of place is Waco? Is it a good place to raise children? Any info would be great.

I was looking at "Windows Live" aerial map of Washington D.C.
When looking at key places, I noticed two things.
The White House is visible to the lowest aerial view, but it's obvious that the roof covered over. And when I looked at the capital building, The building and immediate area around it is pixulated.
Is this something that has been done voluntarily or was it mandated by the government for security purposes?

imagine you are driving. Your starting point is at Fullerton CA. you are going to be driving on the 405 ( to los Angeles) And there is traffic. You want to go to the Disney channel.( place where they film...) How long (minutes) is gonna take foe you to get there ( including the traffic on the 405!!) thank you?!!!?♥

I live in S.F. east bay area.
Last friday I drove south to Dana Point (halfway b/t LA & San Diego, off 5). I hit awful 4 pm traffic. Saturday was bad everywhere. I drove north Sunday & hit awful traffic around 2pm on hwy 5.
Is there a time of day to travel through LA without hitting traffic? Is 2am any good?
Which is better south: hwy 405 or 5?
Which is better north?
