Rancho Cucamonga is near Arrowhead and Big Bear mountain resrts. Beaches are pretty far (for California) about 2 hours. The redwoods are in northern California... about 14 hours drive. Yosemite is east of Fresno and from the rancho it is probably a good 5 hour drive. It is an hour from Hollywood, the desert, Disneyland, etc.

nothing really close - beaches are about 1 - 1 1/2 hours away. Disneyland is about an hour. Rancho has the Quakes, their class a baseball team. Yosemite is about a 10 hour drive away. San Diego is about 2 hours, vegas 4, if you're lucky.

Rancho isn't near anything. I agree with everything the previous guy said, except the one hour to Hollywood thing. With LA traffic, it will take a lot longer than that. Rancho is a desert town. It's a pretty nice town, but still deep Inland Valley.
