It appears that you are looking for a good place to emigrate to, and I would recommend Canada over the U.S. for overall quality of life, and it's easier to get permanent residency in Canada than the U.S. The population is about a tenth of the U.S. for a larger land mass, and it has the highest rate of immigrants in the world.

Here is the official Canadian Immigration website. All of th information, application forms, and instructions are included there.

Also, want to address jellymouse ... not ALL, not even MOST Americans are ignorant, and rude, most of the U.S. is not dirty or crime ridden (yes, there are certainly areas that are, esp. cities!) The health care issue is valid, though, you are right on that one. There are Americans who conscientiously work to find out about International affairs and cultures, which isn't easy, due to the American Press focusing on the U.S. and exercising it's own brand of propoganda. Yes, the country has some big problems, but many of the people are wonderful, thoughtful, intellectual and knowledgeable.

Happiness and sucess are a matter of choice-not circumstance-Read : THINK AND GROW RICH by Napoleon Hill. Gain a different perspective to approach and accomplish your goals in life-this is key-a person can be miserable in a palace or happy in a pig sty.

You'll be much better off if you can immigrate to Europe or Canada. The United States is dirty and crime-ridden, and its citizens are poorly-educated and completely ignorant of the world outside the U.S. Also, our health care system is very difficult for almost everyone to afford. Unless you are fairly wealthy, it is hard to get access to good quality health care. In the United States, if you get cancer or you're injured in an accident, the health care costs can destroy all of your savings and you can end up penniless.
