My boyfriend and I are planning on moving to Sacramento, California in a few months. He is applying to police departments and I plan on working on my graduate degree in Psych. He's been to California but I haven't.

I'm just wondering if people think living there is worth the cost?
I'd hate to move out there and decide it is too expensive, like a lot of people do, and move back to new york and start grad. school all over.

Hi
I read somewhere that even if you get an USA Holiday visa you can still be turned away from entering the States,
Is this true? and does anybody know of this happening to people entering America?

I want to live in Manhattan, in a nice safe area - one bedroom or studio alone. Is a 40,000 per yr. salary enough to do this? What if I spend 1800 on rent a month? what are the nicest neighorhoods to live in, that I'm close to partying but not in the middle of it? Thanks.

Ok here goes, I am in a dilema ok, I am from this small town called Union in South Carolina and I have lived here basically al my life. Iam 21 going on 22 years of age and I have a ton oppurtunites in life as far as education is concerned. Recentley I had the oppurtunity to visit New York City for the past 2 Summers in a row and stay there and feel what it is like being a New Yorker, and I fell inlove with the place. Being that I am from a small southern redneck town where everything is black and white and the biggest building is the courthouse and hospital and virtually no skyscrappers in a 50 mile radius New York became over whelming to me and it took me bystorm. Fianlly my summer came to an end and it was time for me to move back home to continue my college education at USC and I became depressed because of being bored and missing the city life. Iam in my last semester which starts in Jan 07 and that following May I will receive my Associates degree should I stay or go on to Barouch
