My boyfriend and I are planning on moving to Sacramento, California in a few months. He is applying to police departments and I plan on working on my graduate degree in Psych. He's been to California but I haven't.

I'm just wondering if people think living there is worth the cost?
I'd hate to move out there and decide it is too expensive, like a lot of people do, and move back to new york and start grad. school all over.

I think its defiantly worth living California. Sacramento IS a little expensive but EVERYTHING is in California :) you have theme parks ,mountains, desert, ocean, Hollywood, Mexico! its all in California :) PLUS i think its more expensive to live in new york then it is in California.

Before coming to any conclusion I want you to live here for a while. California is one of the sought after places for many on this world the fog the climate and everything is just perfect in any season exception to some places the climate is exceptionally good. But, i dont think Sacramento is having that interesting climate but, SFO, SJ and other areas around Sacramento are worth staying. But, I agree the cost of living is too much but the earning potential is good too.
I hope you will enjoy your stay in california.
