There are several good free shows. Over at Treasure's Island, there's the nightly "Sirens of TI" show. Then over at the Bellagio, there's the beautiful water and music show. All over Vegas, there so many good little shows and reviews.

Spend some time Downtown. The gambling is cheaper and it's got an "old school" vibe. You can watch the Fremont Street Experience while you're there.
If you're looking for classy, stick to the Strip. Bellagio and The Venetian are highly recommended.
If you want to meet people, The Rio, though it's off the strip and a bit of a cab ride away, has a happening pool with poolside bar.
If you're looking for some non-gambling fun, the rollercoasters at the Stratosphere and New York, New York are thrilling.
If you can afford it, the Cirque du Soleil shows are great. If you'd like to see a show but can't afford $50+ a head, pretty much every hotel lobby has a cheezy lounge show that's good for a laugh.

Must see the Blue Man Group!!! Just got back from Vegas and I seen them on Tuesday and I have never laughed so hard at a live show. They really get the crowd involved.

Visit the grand room inside Bellagio - It should have floral decorations with xmas theme ...like floating red stuff on the water, floral bears that sweat, etc.

ok well i have been to vegas 6 years in a row! soo if your into rife you deffinately HAVE to go to stratasphere and get on all the rides it has theres onne that goes off the building at like the 150th floor and kind of falls of the building its pretty bad *** soo yah! i hope that helped ya!
