Yeah, there are two. Port Aransas and Port Isabel (sp). Both are pretty serious spring break towns (although PA has clamped down the last few years cause of teen drinking and accidents. PA is about 45 minutes north of Corpus Christi and at the north end of Padre Island.
Port Isabel is at the south end of Padre Island and just north of the Mexican border with the Mexican town of Matamoris. I don't know if there is any of the trouble like they are having at Laredo, but if there is it hasn't made the news. have fun-be safe
