I will be going over to Hawaii next week, and I am wondering if these stations can be heard on the Big Island (precisely in the Kona & Hilo areas):

95.1 KAOI-FM (Kihei)
94.7 KUMU-FM (Honolulu)

I looked at the radio stations in Hawaii, and apparently some station on the Big Island has 94.7 (so maybe I might not be able to hear KUMU-FM), but can I hear 95.1 on the Big Island?

Or, are either station rebroadcast on the big island with different call letters & call numbers?
If you know, please post ASAP!

(Yes, I know there are other stations I can listen to on the Big Island, but I want to know about those radio stations that I posted about because there is a certain program I want to hear, and it's carried on only those 2 stations in Hawaii)

What were some costs that you had to pay. For example, I know in Michigan, you have to pay a $50 dollar start up fee for getting a phone turned on in a new residence. When we moved to California, it cost $20 for a new driver's licence ($8 in Michigan) and nearly $1000 for new plates for the car! Not to mention California car insurance was just astronomical!

We are moving to Washington State...any expenses you can alert us about?

Thank you for all your great answers. Jerkholes will be reported.

The Big Pig Gig and the Fish Sandwich Festival are both coming this next weekend and the Cheeseburger in Caseville Festival is the following weekend I believe. If I can only afford one and they are all the same driving distance, which one should I go to?

I just came baack from an Orlando vacation and I paid about 240 to get on Disney, 1 park 1 day, 2 aduts and 2 children. It was about the same for Seaworld and the other parks. Still on the way back I kept seeing those ads and boots with people saying two to the park for $20 or two to Disney for $25, they even said $100 cash for asking.

I know it must be some sort of scam. Does anyone knows what is this scam about or share any experiencies about how they try to rip you off.

I recently moved to Elk Grove Village, IL and the area is very family oriented and residential. Plenty of schools, parks, and family type activity. I also love all the biking/walking trails, and the huge fitness facility.

However, I was told there is an incorporated and village area. What's the difference? I remember passing a section towards the airport that was very business/industrial like? Is that considered Elk Grove, IL or still Elk Grove Village, IL?
