I am moving to london in a few months for school. I am 18 and was thinking about getting a job working in a pub. Is there an age restriction does any one know? Or any other good part time jobs for a young person?

I'm flying to Italy on July 4, and my flight leaves Heathrow at 6:50 a.m. I'm staying at a hotel in Bayswater, north of Hyde Park.

Does anyone from London have any tips on how to get to the airport? The tube is out, since I'd like to be there 2 hours ahead of time, and it doesn't start running until 5 a.m. Taxis are expensive. In the states there are cheap van shuttles that will pick you up and take you to the airport -- anything like that in the U.K.?

I've been told it's too expensive to drive around, but how do people get their groceries and house hold items? I was looking online and the suburbs of London have Tesco(isn't that like a Walmart) and Costco. How can you shop in those kind of places and not have a car with a trunk? Costco in the U.S. sells 24 bottles of water and 3 lbs of bananas and I can't imagine carrying that into a cab or on the tube. Thanks

I am travelling to Malta and have an 8 hour layover at Gatwick Airport in London. I would like to see the changing of the guard and the other "touristy" stuff. What is the best way to do this? How much will it cost? And why is this the best way?

Also, is it possible to take a taxi as I am scared of train and bus bombing? If so, how much does this cost?

TIA!

I was in London in 2002 and went to St Paul's. There was no admission fee at the time. We were incouraged to make a donation, which I did. Is the ticket a charge to get in or for a guided tour? Will I have to pay to walk in to look on my own? Will I have to pay if I would like to attend a service? Which Sunday service would be the best for me to attend?
