I was in London in 2002 and went to St Paul's. There was no admission fee at the time. We were incouraged to make a donation, which I did. Is the ticket a charge to get in or for a guided tour? Will I have to pay to walk in to look on my own? Will I have to pay if I would like to attend a service? Which Sunday service would be the best for me to attend?

There still is no charge to visit or attend a service. I recommend going to a weekday service as the crowd is much smaller.

There is a 9.50 GBP charge to get into St. Paul's. This is for walking around on your own; and includes the Dome Climb. In addition to this fee, you can buy an audioguide "self-tour" for 3.50. Or, you can pay an additional 2.50 for a guided "super tour" that lasts about 90 minutes. There is never a charge to attend a service.
