Travelling from Birmingham to London on 3rd August then back on the 4th August and staying in central london, however parking is too much in central london and train ticket is £57 return!

Can anyone suggest what i should do?
Maybe drive to a tube station outside congestion charge border then take tube to central - if so where is there a tube station with a secure but affordable car park.

THANKS!!

What would be the best way to go from Stansted to Ilford?
We'll be staying in London for 5 days with a low budget.

What would you recommend us if we want to visit London everyday, a travelcard or pay as you go? how many zones? thx!

I am a business traveler and need the C-PAP for my severe sleep apnea and must also bring a laptop. I do not want to risk checking either in due to loss/damage.

I'm intending to move to a quieter and nice neighbourhood outside central London. Everyday I need to commute into Zone 1 to work. Would you recommend any of these areas to live, if not, why?
Barking, Essex (Tube Zone 4)
Finchley, London N3 (Tube Zone 4)

Northwest London (NW11)
Southwest London (SW19)
East London (E3)
North London (N19)

Thanks in advance.

My wife and I would like to travel to Italy or France, but to reduce travel costs. I think it may be cheaper to fly from the west coast of the United States to London, and then fly on Easy Jet or Ryan Air. Most transoceanic flights go into Heathrow. But, I don't think that the discount carriers use that hub. Thanks for your help.

And for that matter, where is the best place to change my currency in the UK? Who charges the least? I am flying out of NYC tomorrow and will be in London most of the time.

I am going to London next week. I have always been interested in the Jack the Ripper case and was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for the best way to see the Whitechapel area where he was? Is it better to do a tour group or just try to find the places by myself? I don't know how safe the area is. Any suggestions will help : )

I will be in London between May 22 and June 2nd, and I love to swim as my daily exercise... I will be staying in a flat located between Hyde Park & Regent Park... Are there any gyms with swimming pools that have weekly or tourist memberships?

Thanks in advance.
