first off...London is a great walking city. With your 4 year old...one easy thing you can do is walk by the river Thames right by the London Eye....there is a little cafe...you can see big Ben and the palace and Trafalgar square are all very close...as well as Westminster cathedral....another day you may want to walk around by tower bridge which is next to the tower of London and close to St. Paul's Cathedral. National art gallery is free....British history Museum is free, Transport Museum is free....check out some of these on the Internet....and see what you like.

Nothing Much these days are free but hyde park,regents park,and science musem are good places for taking little ones

A walk in The Park, Richmond Park is good, you can see the deer there!Take a picnic and sail a toyboat on the pond!

contact your local council and ask for a under 14s directory,
regents park is nice, kensington gardens, walking, some cinemas do children for £2 at certain times and the adult goes free, if you want to contact me i may be able to help more
