Stansted Airport to London Ilford?

What would be the best way to go from Stansted to Ilford?
We'll be staying in London for 5 days with a low budget.

What would you recommend us if we want to visit London everyday, a travelcard or pay as you go? how many zones? thx!

Take the National Express coach to Stratford, then train to Ilford. You can get a train direct to Stratford, but it is more expensive and takes longer than the coach.
You will have to buy a travelcard, as you can't use PAYG from Ilford station. A 7 day card will probably work out cheaper than 5 one day ones. The ticket office at Ilford will be able to sort out what is best.
