I travel Amsterdam-London several times a year, and find Air travel cheaper and much faster than the train. I do not travel by bus as it takes a full day or a whole night and is not recommended, even not by people who use it.
If you go by air EasyJet is most likely your cheapest choice and might even compete for price with the coach, if you are lucky.
If you can change your travel by one or two days you are often able to get even better prices.
Have a look at the site: https://www.easyjet.com/en/book/index.asp

Neither. I recommend the train. The cost is about the same as by plane, the time is also about the same, but you get the scenery of the land, and the tunnel under the English Channel is apparently fascinating, and you'll find it far more comfortable, it's more environmentally friendly, you don't get vertigo, it's about the same in safety, and it goes right into the centre of London, as well as other stops, which makes it easier for you to get to your final destination, it's more reliable in terms of travelling time and speed, it's a more relaxed, easy going environment, you can buy a meal in the dining car if you want, or take a nap, whereas on a flight or bus naps and food are only for first class, and the experience can be social or solitary depending on your taste (be sure to express your preference when you book your ticket).

Between bus and air, I would still keep my feet on the ground and take the bus (unless I was in a panicked rush to arrive), but I greatly prefer the train when available.

I don't know the cost difference, but air is probably more costly. I would recommend the air travel, because as you know bus rides are very bumpy and air is smoother. The distance between London and Amsterdam is a pretty long one and the bus would take several hours, but the plane will only take about 4. Good Luck with your descision!
