dude, get the train from stansted airport to west ham station or stratford on the national rail. Then jump on the jubilee line (london underground) to north greenwich station thats where the dome is. should take no longer than 2 hours and it will be the cheapest way less than £17.00.
Cab will cost you a fortune! probably £70 - £80.

You can take a train or National Express coach to Stratford. However, train takes longer. Then take the Jubilee Line to North Greenwich.
Check at http://www.tfl.gov.uk before you leave as there is works on the Jubilee Line for several weekends which means trains don't run from North Greenwich

There are numerous sites where you can find the distances between any two given points.. Try multimap or the AA route planner, to name just two.

As for the second part of your question, how are we to know what you define as "cheap" or "easy"? If you want the cheapest, check those things on the ends of your legs. Presumably walking isn't "easy" enough, so how are we to answer unless we know how much easier than walking you need it to be?
