I understand that you need a passport to travel, but I don't know what the requirements are, what the background checks are looking for, grounds for denial are, etc... I also know that each place you want to visit requires that you have a visa. Do many countries (England, Japan, Germany, France, Australia, India, etc...) deny entry for people with felony convictions?

What's the general process, etc...?

Any help would be appreciated, we are trying to figure this out quickly! THANKS!!!

with the new security measures passengers travelling to the USA must put all carry on liquids into a 'one quart' ziplock bag. I'm in metric so one quart is foreign to me. Can anyone tell me the dimensions of the largest bag allowed? Dimensions in inches is ok. Please, if you can, state how you know? I've got so many different answers from various sites. cheers

I didn't manage a holiday last year due to friends with no money, or with boyrfriends, or who had just got back from flitting around the world in a year. So I'm determined to have at least a city break and a summer holiday this year, even if I do it on my own!!! I just needed some information about which travel insurance would be the best to cover our group wishing to go skiing end of January. There are 4 people planning to travel together. Two of them are over 65 years of age (one of them has diabetes) and the other two 28 and 32 years old. This will hopefully be our first of many trips, hence we are looking for an annual policy.
