Hey! I'm studying in Florence right now. I've gone to Cinque Terre, Ravenna, Siena and Pisa (and all through Florence)-- any other recommendations? I'm huge on the classics, religion, history and anything picturesque.

I am graduating college in may of 2007 with a degree in Industrial Design (product design), and am looking for a job / internship somewhere in italy. i studied in florence from january to may of 2006 and had an amazing time. i need something that will pay me a decent amount because i need to support myself to live there for another year or 2 before i get a job in america. does anyone know what i need to do, or how easy it is to do what i want? i speak decent italian--- for only having taken a semester and a half so far (i will have had 1 1/2 years of italian when im finished with school) but can understand a lot more. let me know what you guys think, thanks!

I have always wanted to live in Florence, Italy. Oh yes, it is inevitable. I want to live in a nice villa next to the river ( after I'm famous) and I have so much love for Florence. So what's my question- are there any orchestras in Florence?
JUST TELL ME ALL ABOUT FLORENCE!!! I've been researching since I was 12 about just Florence! It's my french name ( in french class) for heaven's sake. So please, tell me more than what the internet/encylopedias/ books say. PLEASE!!!!

Never been before so fairly central. Something traditionally Italian, and ideally with a 4 poster bed.

I am visiting Italy and doing some sight seeing; I am going to be in Florence until Tuesday then want to go spend 2 days on the Amalfi Coast then go to Venice and spend another 2 days.
I was going to rent a car but I have heard the high speed trains are pretty good and avoid the hassle with having a car and renting one.

I am particularly interested in knowing specifics from head to toe. Do they wear hats? What type of shirts? What type of coats/jackets? What type of bottoms? Are jeans common or slacks? What range of shoes are often worn? What colors, textures, etc.? Especially for middle or lower class?
