What are the names of some small towns or villages around Tuscany, or any really pretty country villages in Italy?....

Siena, in the center of Tuscany, is the natural starting point to visit Tuscany. From here it is easy to reach many historic cities and villages of Tuscany: *Florence, *Lucca, *Arezzo, *Cortona, *San Gimignano, *Pienza, *Montalcino, *Monteriggioni, *Volterra, *Massa Marittima, *Montepulciano, *San Galgano, *Abbey, and many more.

If you like pretty villages you have to visit Chianti zone. Here there are many little villages and a beautiful countryside and you are in the heart of Tuscany,! between Florence and Siena. Visit the web site: www.barberinovaldelsa.net at the section "tourism" : I work at the tourist office there,.Don't forget to visit also: S.Gimignano, Montalcino, Pienza ecc..
And if you like south italy: I raccomand you Ostuni.: the white city : it's very nice, search in google some photos.

ahah!!! your italian it's ok! i'd love to hear you speaking it!

apart this excel gave you nice tips. you can go there without an itinerary and buzzing around from hills to the sea, to provinces that you'll enjoy it a lot.
