Please help. Looking for either a low Italian cost carrier to fly
or for a rail route. I can't seem to find a direct rail route, or a low-cost air route. Please share your thoughts. Thanks.

Why are the museums in Italy closed on Mondays? I was in Florence the past summer on a once-in-a-lifetime trip, but they said since it was Monday the museums weren't open..?? Pissed because I didn't get to see the Statue of David or the Ufizzi gallery....

We already visted a few years back and loved it. I want to live 2 -5 years in Florence, and leave NYC behind. It would be with hubby and 2 kids under 5. I might be able to convince Grandma. I'm going on a cruise in June-July. Once we come back, we are spending some time in Venice, Italy, but we are also going to go to Florence for 2 days tops. I'm wondering where the best places to go in Florence in such a short time frame. I dont know where to go in the short period of time that I have in Florence. Please help! Thanks!!
