Im going to both places. What are they famous for? I want to bring back something for my friends. Any idea?

If you have ever answerd a question in the Canada section of Yahoo! Answers you will recgonize his name. So what is it that you dislike about his comments the most? Is it the complete lack of any factual information? Or is it just that he is rude and arrogant?

Just wondering if anyone else was feeling the same way I am towards the childish individual.

I am earning my Master's in the U.S., on an F-1 visa. As part of the degree, I am doing a co-op for GE, and the company wants me to go to Canada for about two weeks (to work at one of their sites).

Would it be better for me to apply for a tourist visa or a temporary work permit? It seems the latter is a more complicated process.

It has come to my attention that many of my answers pertaining to canada have been deleted. Now canada is not up to par with the United States on any level, but i have not insulted nor have i said anything negative to any users of yahoo answers....so my question would be, are canadians so afraid of the truth about their country that they report abuse for any answer that does not portray canada in a positive light? Seems to me that canada is much worse off than i expected

We've never been to Montreal and want to go this weekend for a quick getaway. Any suggestions? Also, we were thinking of flying into Burlington and driving the rest of the way since flying to Montreal from NYC is really expensive. Is this the best place to fly to or is there somewhere closer? Thank you!!

The passport is less than 2 years old and my marriage is less than a year. Can I use it to cross the border from Detroit to Canada before the end of March? My Driver's License has my current addy, photo, and name and I've got my voter's registration (though it doesn't have a picture). Will this work if my passport won't?
