Whistler is always open.
In the summer there is bike riding down the slopes and snow remains in the upper parts of the mountains.

Whistler never closes.
In the winter, all the ski runs are open. In the summer, many of the ski runs are converted to mountain bike trails and runs (there are a couple of kamikaze courses for mountain bikes - you ride the chairlift up and head straight down the run on your bike). In the backcountry, there is always some skiing available. There are also a couple of nice lakes in the Whistler area for water sports, or you can hike, climb, go on photo treks etc.etc.etc.

Whistler never closes. If your talking about the ski and board runs then check their website out, I think it may be June or May.
