Here's my dilema. I'm driving to Vancouver BC and I'm a US Citizen but I don't have a copy of my birth certificate or a passport and I have to travel tomorrow to go look at a boat I'm thinking of buying. I haven't been to Canada in a while. What documents are required to enter Canada and return to the U.S.? I don't have time to get a copy of my birth certificate unless I can somehow get a copy online. Is that possible? Anyone know what I can do or what else I can bring to prove I'm a U.S. Citizen? I own a business here. Would those documents work? Please help.

Can someone please explain to me why we tolerate this atrocious double standard? Let's impose a restriction on trade with Canada so they cannot continue being dependent on our economy (of course they're not viable on their own).

I found this bag of money on a park bench in Newark, New Jersey. It was all weird…Strange colors with these pictures of what appears to be Queen Elizabeth. I was totally disgusted. I counted all the denominations, which totaled some $11,400.00. I gave it to a bum that I saw. Now I’ve found out that it could have been Canadian money, and quite possibly worth something. Did I make a mistake? Someone told me I could have gotten a couple of hundred US dollars from the bank? Is that true?

I hear it is very wet in certain areas right now, like Melrose. Anyone else ever been there . I went once and would love to go back. It was very hot and wet when I was there but it was memorable. They are famous for their juicy pie that squirts when you eat it. ;)

The whole idea of a judicial system is to have an INDEPENDANT and IMPARTIAL tribunal. This cannot be achieved by appointing judges on a whim (whoever is in the governemnts good favour and will do as they say) as opposed to based on merit and accredidation. This means that any fool can be appointed, as opposed to the current system where it is based on good decisions, sound reasoning and being impartial. Not having police officers and government officials appoint because the person is more prone to leaning the way they want. Yes police are the most qualified when it comes to crime, but they are also the most biased. Ergo in an impartial system you can not have biased people appointing members of what is to be an impartial tribunal. You might as well merge law enforcement and the judicial system with this move. It defeats the purpose of this system, yet the genius of the conservatives aka Progressive conservative and Alliance party decided that they know better then the rest of Canada

I am moving to Vancouver Island and have heard that some things are more expensive there. Can someone please tell me the price of:
4 litres of milk (2%)
Case of Wal-Mart's baby formula
a pound of ground beef
A loaf of wonder bread
A dozen eggs
A carton of cigarettes (Canadian Classics) or can you get rez smokes out there?

This will give me an idea of how prices compare with where I live now (Southern Ontario) and I really appreciate it!

Thanks all,

Samlet
