It has come to my attention that many of my answers pertaining to canada have been deleted. Now canada is not up to par with the United States on any level, but i have not insulted nor have i said anything negative to any users of yahoo answers....so my question would be, are canadians so afraid of the truth about their country that they report abuse for any answer that does not portray canada in a positive light? Seems to me that canada is much worse off than i expected

fair enough...but my question still lacks an answer.....why do you feel the need to click the "report abuse button" when no one has been harassed nor have any negative comments towards users been said....

I don't feel the need to even become alarmed at anything you might post. You are as insignificant as any other American. Having an anonymous platform to post your drivel doesn't make you intelligent or noteworthy..

Well if you are going to be a rude moron, dont expect Canadians to take it lying down.

First of all your answers always reflect your arrogance and ignorance. Canadians are just as proud and patriotic as Americans,if you were a Canadian (hope you don't get a heart attack), making equally arrogant and ignorant remarks about Americans, Americans would be reacting the same way.

Canadians are not Jealous of nor do they have an inferiority complex to Americans, why should they be. They Have a great country and are proud of it. You can look at some of the questions that i have placed as sources to my answer.

Even Americans dont like your answers

"Now canada is not up to par with the United States on any level ..."

Exactly what part of that are we (Canadians) not suppose to take offense too?

Have you stood back and thought for a moment that perhaps America is not the end all be all, or the center of the world? Have you even traveled to Canada? Experienced our culture, our heritage, our people?

Take a look at the answer on this question. Generally people seemed offended by your horrible narrow minded attitude. You should grow up, wake up, and learn to except other countries and people for what they are, not what they are not. Everywhere has it's ups and downs and America is no exception... I mean heck you are following George Bush!

How can you say "Now canada is not up to par with the United States on any level" and then say this "but i have not insulted nor have i said anything negative"?

Tell me, what's wrong with your statement... can you say "confused about what the word insult means"?

I apologize in advance if English is not your first language.

It is perhaps ironic that you feel that Canadians are jealous of you in the United States, when all we do in Canada is try to distance ourselves from your governments policies and your (you in particular) arrogant and condescending attitude.

Like Obvious mentioned before me, if you go back and read what you have posted in your questions, you can see a definite trend to try and goad people into mouthing off to you and making sure people are pretty much in a foul mood after reading it.

It's simple things like saying you know Jane, a beautiful girl (by Canadian standards) and want us to track her down for you. Yep. I'll get right on that, it's a pretty small country after all...how many Janes can there possibly be?

Anyway, you are entitled to your opinion, and if spreading bias against other cultures and countries is how you get your kicks, feel free to do so. We have thick skins up here...it keeps the cold out... ;-)

Regarding the "original" question, some people may feel you are trying to spread inaccurate information or downright lies just to antagonize or put down the Canadians. It is the first step toward prejudice and is not usually tolerated in civilized society.

I personally would not bother reporting you, because it is much more entertaining to see what sort of lame ideas about Canadians you can come up with, but I can see how some people might be offended. Imagine saying some of the stuff you do about African-Americans or Jews ? The questions you posed are "phrased" in a bigoted manner, even though you do not direct these words to a particular person.

What I would have liked to know is the nationality of the people who reported you for your previous questions. My guess is that you may have received a significant reporting from your countrymen who are trying to prevent Americans from being generalized according to their stereotypes. There were at least two of them responding here who did not like your tone.

so how do you figure Canada is not up to par with the USA in many ways its better. and if it wasn't for Canada the USA would be in sad shape. daily we ship beef chickens pork grain lumber paper water electricity and even oil to name a few to the USA. this is stuff you could not live with out. the USAF and the us navy would be useless with out Canada as there radar becons are placed in northern Canada. Canada also buys millions of tons of things of American products which keep Americans working. on the other hand we are a peaceful nation and we like to keep it that way so we dint have hospitals full of murder victims and we ain't sure what a drive by is cause we have so fue of them. so on the positive light we need each other and we ain't that bad off the rest of the world likes Canada i cant say that for the USA so next time y'all want to give Canada lip just think first we may be small and a little out of date but we can throw a nasty punch

What exactly are you trying to prove here? You are just being very rude and arrogant. Why don't you go off the computer and go outside so that people on this website don't have to read stupid questions like yours. Or maybe you should complain about Canada to a friend......that is if you have any friends!!! You really are giving your country a bad rep.

I think the reason no one takes you seriously on here is becuase all we've heard is slandering, and not a single ounce of objective evidence to support your claims.

You make it sound as though Canada is a small town south of Detroit. It's a very large, very diverse country, so when you homogenous us into one entity we simply don't understand how someone can be so naive and ignorant. I think that's what we're trying to get at. Before you judge our nation, first take a good look at yours, and then acknowledge that Canada is even more diverse than yours, and any judgements you make automatically don't make any sense to us as a whol.e

just curious as to where you get your information?
some of your answers are just crazy!for example you state about all the gang violence and the 98% homeless rate in the Toronto area!
yeah there are homeless people but there are homeless people in every country and no where near 98% that's ridiculous!!
if you despise Canada so much why don't you just stay away and ask/answer questions somewhere else
if you where stating true facts then we would give you a thumbs up!! get your facts straight first!!
FYI: Canada has approximately 150,000 homeless people in the whole country while the USA has approximately 754,000 for the whole country !!

I am hoping that you are not as ignorant as you are arrogant and would take a moment to reflect on how large the world really is and with that you would know that the United States is NOT the center of the universe.
Every country has its prons and cons and high and lows, if you know anything about history you would also realize that every Dynasty has its rise and falls, so I would adhere to being a little less critical of surrounding countries and more so less narrow minded. Its not to say that one can't be proud, but you aren't better than anyone.
That's one thing that us americans don't get, you aren't the best of the best and your kids will only suffer a great deal as they grow up and enter the real world and realize that they are equal and won't just get things handed to them like its a right that they were born with.

I have to admit that your questions and answers make me really angry ( but I assume that is what they are meant to do ) I have given you many thumbs down but you have a right to your opinions no matter how ignorant they are. I won`t report you for them but I am in control of my feelings and choose not to read anything you post from now on!
