Other than housing and transportation, the cost of living in the entire Greater Vancouver metro area will be very similar. I say this because I noted you asking this question for a number of the cities that make up the Vancouver area.

The further away from central Vancouver you go, the cheaper the housing and more expensive the transportation (if commuting, whether by car or transit). A two bedroom apt. in Richmond will run $750 to $1,200+ depending on area, size, and type. A three bedroom house will rent for $1,000 on up again depending on area, size and how nice it is. This is fairly general for the area, except downtown Vancouver and the west side, where both will be more costly.

All other costs (utilities, phone, cell phone, groceries and sundries, entertainment, meals out) will all be comparable in the entire Vancouver area.

nicely, I actually have lived in BC fr like 35 years and the price for sure keeps going up nicely imagine about 1500.00 or more beneficial for employ, then yet another 500 for foodstuff and about 2 hundred.00 for a transit bypass (in case you dont have a motorcar) yet another one hundred and fifty-2 hundred month for utilities. Richmond is progression a clean skytrain section to the YVR (airport) and the taxes are going way up i'd imagine about transferring farther out of the GVRD like the Fraser Valley the position you do not have the burden of more beneficial fee living....... sturdy success to you and your relatives in case you want help, contact me
