i'm a 16 year old U.S. citizen and some friends want me to go to canada with them. i have a driver's license, birth certificate, etc...i also have a passport because i went to Australia 4 months ago, so would that work? we're driving and there are no parents going, but my brother who is 21 is coming. do we need a parent or guardian? i'll be in the car with him but a few friends will be in another car which won't have anyone over 18 in it. can we tell the guards or whatever that they're with us, since my brother is of legal age? none of us have been up there before..and only my brother and i have passports..no one else does, so should they apply for one? anything else i should know?

we're going august 2nd and staying for 3 nights.

apparantly if you've been convicted of a driving offence within the last 7 years or so you can't get in, no other country cares about this!

We are going to Toronto for a weekend soon. We have already booked the Hilton Toronto through hotwire and we do plan on going to the zoo.

We need to know where are some good inexpensive places to eat. And other things to do and see on a budget.

Thanks in advance!

-I want to know if I would be able to sometimes go to Vancouver?(to visit) easily from Prince George if I go to unbc there?
(so how much and how long does it take? is that an easy work to do weekly?)

- Do you know any online map that has the location of Prince George and Vancouver to compare by distance?

-And how is unbc? Is that a good university too?

- How is living there in Prince George? What are the advantages and what are the disadvantages(if any).

Thanks.

Hello Canadians,
I currently live in Brazil and I am a math professor teaching Linear Algebra and I also can teach chemistry. I speak many languages including French so that may be a benefit to teach in Canada (primarily Quebec). My salary is very low here. I get only about $1000 every month and as a Professor I believe I need more than that.
I was wondering what the average salary is there in Canada for Professors teaching in Universities or teachers teaching in Highschools.
I'd also like to move to Canada to teach there. My main concern is not knowing if there is any teaching jobs in Quebec. Does anyone know a school that's hiring or do you have any information at all to share regarding my situation. I'd love to know where they are hiring or where I should throw my application to. Any source I can get this information or does anybody know?

Any answer will be appreciated. Thank you. =)
