Me and my family are going to canada for the weekend and we were told that we can't cross the border if we have any felonys and my little sister had got five tickets for driving over the speed limit is it true that she might not be able to go with the family? and we do know that tickets is not a felony but we are making sure that she would be able to go?

tickets mean nothing as long as they are paid and there is not a bench warrant, so with that said, pay the tickets and there is no problem

Not a problem at all. Not only is it not a felony, but it is normally not even a crime. It is a traffic violation. Canada only concerns itself with crimes that the maximum sentence in Canada is 10 years or more. For the US, that is related to Felonies.

Tickets are not felonies and are not taken into consideration when crossing into Canada.

I don't think you will have to worry. The border people are only concerned with criminals, illegal immigrants and smuggling not traffic tickets. Have fun

Hope she's not driving....Visit Bobcaygeon Ontario, we have criminals as dangerous as her and they don't even vote Republican. Have a wonderful time neighbours.
