This Canadian girl is wondering what to wear in Australia. I will be there late september to early november and will be travelling NSW, Victoria, NT, and QT back to NSW.

Are the weather changes that drastic, or can I make due with shorts and tshirts etc? Do I need a sweater? Or rain coat? Or jeans? What other items would you suggest?

p.s. and thanks to the last person whom answered a bikini and condoms. Can I get some more serious answers this time please? lol

I recall that a visitor -tourist- may "stay for a period NOT TO EXCEED six months OUT OF the last 18 months" in New Zealand.

Which in effect mens one may not visit within two consecutive years and stay for six months each time.

Is this rule still in force ?

I'm absolutely in love w/ So. Island. Too old to be eligible for immigrant status. Sigh.

Will be there for 7 - 10 days, hiring a car. Would like to try jetboating, kayaking, etc; but not really extreme stuff like bungy jumping.
