OK - all wrong.


The legal age to have a drink in a pub is 16, not 18.

HOWEVER, you must be 18 to BUY a drink. At 16 your parents can buy you a drink in a pub.

Legal age in drinking (buying alcohol), smoking (buying cigarettes), going clubbing, gambling, voting in elections or watching porn (yet you only have to be 16 to have sex.. wtf?!) is 18 yrs of age. Nothing else really happens when your 21 we just make a big deal out of 21st bdays too because of Americans - where their legal drinking age IS 21 =) hope this helps.
