Go to the Qantas Webstie and check.

Also call the airlines.

More than likely the answer will be no. But it doesn't hurt to check. Expect to pay extra per bag.

You definately do not get any extra allowance as I have relocated to the UK from Oz on a working visa and they charged me $40 AUD extra for every kilo over 20kgs I checked in. They do offer an unaccompanied baggage service though, which is half the price of excess luggage but does not travel with you on the same flight.

You could use excess luggage companies (don't know what country you are in, just do an internet search) but once luggage either in suitcase or boxes arrive in Australia they need to be inspected by Quarantine. I shipped a suitcase from the UK last year and it has been sitting in Quarantine for over a month and it's just clothes! Plus they charge you $100 to inspect it.

Moving countries is NOT a cheap task. I recommend taking only essentials and buying anything else you need once you arrive.

All monetary equipment seats on community or international flights have an similar length seat and minimum legroom. I actually have flown on Qantas, BA, Singapore and others, many times cases for 14 hours, yet contained ultimately you're saying that became a reliable flight, were given there. in case you get seats down the decrease back, close to to the tail, the placement there are in difficulty-loose words 2 seats between the window and the isle, you do get extra perfect section.

agree with nat star, you don't get extra baggage allowance no matter what kind of visa you have and airlines have very strict rules since last year's bombing issues. you may want to check the baa web to see of there is any changes of things you can or cannot bring, so pack light and you can get your essentials in Oz, cheers

Depends on what class you are flying and the type of ticket you have.

Ring the airline.
