I will be staying in hostel accomadation, and my JR rail pass is paid for . I wish to eat good food but not in expensive in restaurants. I would like to do a few tours and trips maybe a scuba dive also and would like to bring back a few souveniers for my immediate family.

Im going for a 7 day trip to Japan, and it would be cold dere, bout 5-15degrees celcius, can someone help me with these points please?

1) I need a list of everything i need to bring

2) What are the most impotant things to bring?

3) How many pairs of pants and shirts i should bring? Should i bring 1 for each day, or should i wear 1 set twice?

I hear about this often and I wonder why those women don't say/do anything about it. If someone molested me on the subway here, I'd take off my shoe and beat them in the face with my heels. I'd make a huge fuss about it. Don't Japanese women defend themselves when this happens?

The base housing has a very long waiting list and I am concerned if we can't live on base, what will that be like and will we be able to find a house or apartment in our price range?
