The most popular tourist spots are Asakusa with its famous Kaminari-mon, Meiji jingu and Tokyo tower. During the weekend you can afford a trip to Kamakura , which is one hour by train from Tokyo.
Odaiba would be nice place to visit at night, when the weather is good.
Here is a list of the museums in Tokyo. You can choose these who seem interesting to you

If you're going to spend ten days in Tokyo, unless you're going to be on business the whole time I'd recommend getting the hell outta Dodge for part of it.

I'm going to be spending a month in Hiroshima, and when not working I'm going to be going as far as I can in a day and back and cram as much as I can in a weekend.

Try this site, which is run by the Japan National Tourist Organization: http://www.jnto.go.jp/eng/

EDIT: Oh, one thing. DO NOT buy electronics in Japan. You really won't get a bargain AND you have the chance to have it stolen by unscrupulous airport baggage handlers when you return. The cost savings are minimal, and the chance of losing it is higher. In addition, you might not get user's manuals in English.

Yeah, the Fish Market - Tsukiji.
Akihabara, the otaku center and electronics haven.
Roppongi, Ginza, Shibuya, Shinjuku - take your pick.
Nikko (out of Tokyo but easy).
Disneyland (?!)

10 days - get out of Tokyo, go to an onsen (hot spring), mountain or seaside resort, or head to Kyoto/Nara by bullet train - you'll pass by Mt. Fuji and that could be memorable (or it could be clouded in).

Have fun!

Hi king T .

I 've just read your question .

I don't know that you 'll visit anywhere in japan .
If you have a spare time .

I recommend that you visit The Hiroshima Atomic Bomb Museum in Hiroshima prefecture .

You 'll understand , we hymen shouldn't use a atomic bomb .
If hymen will use that , It 's really tragedy .

After that , you ' ll able to have a Japanese pizza ,too.
We called it "Hiroshima-yaki"
You 'll feel to be delicious and able to be enough .

It takes about 4 hour to Hiroshima station from Tokyo station by Shinkansen .
And , It costs you about 18000yen to get on that .

That 's all and thank 's for your time .
Have a nice travel to japan .

In the Kanto area that would be Asakusa, Shibuya, Harajuku(on a Sunday!), Kamakura. It really depends on what you want to see, some people like to check out the fashionistas in Harajuku, other people like the artsy-fartsy stuff. If you like cars maybe you would like to go to the Honda museum at Motegi.

If you have any interest in theatre/performing, I would highly recommend spending a day at the Kabuki-za theatre at the Ginza. They provide you with a real-time English translation on headphones of everything that's going on.
