Such swords are available, but they tend to be extraordinarily expensive... along the lines of $3500-$10,000 and up. If this does not concern you, I recommend the manufacturers below.

You could try the antique shops in Kanda or Ochanomizu. You need a permit to possess it, and a permit to export it from Japan. However a shop that specializes in sales to expats will be able to help you with the paperwork-it's basically a formality.

Just make sure no one passes off a Showato as the real thing to you. The export permit will list the provenance of the sword, so the paperwork is helpful that way.
