She is a graduated nurse from the Philippines, and speaks perfectly English. She doesn't speak any Chinese, but she's willing to learn it.

* Can she work in Taiwan? (either as a nurse or caretaker - not living in)

Ok, I have a Japanese passport and my friends are coming to Japan with me, but do they have to have a japanese passport but have American passports. Do they have to have jaspanese passports as well? or can they just use there american passports. We are probably going to go on American AirLines and Japanese AirLines. And why are you interested in this section?

I will begin. I have three reasons:

1- I have a friend that went to live there and will be married soon. He has no computer and I regularly send him information that can help him.

2- I have learned so much of the Philippines because of this and I find it a fascinating place! I keep wanting to learn more :-)

3- My grandmother's second husband was from the Philippines. I saw him perhaps not more than three times when I was a very young little girl, because they lived in another country. What I remember very well besides his kind face, was that I would make him very angry. As a 6 or 8 year old girl, I used to ask him "Are you Chinese?", he would get very angry and tell me "NO I AM FROM THE PHILIPPINES", after a while it became a funny game, between us.

I get soooo annyoing from watching TV cuz of advertisemen for every 15minutes.
And also they seems don't put in affort for buying movies to the TV audience.
Old movies at least 5year, cheap horror movies, today night movie will be on TV tomorrow some time again and in few days again and in few weeks, in few month will be on again.
I am tired and sick of TV.
Somehow if they have "new" movie I will memorize all of their lines by watching it for few days.

My favorite channel is 61 HBO. At least I don't have to throw thing to TV with with advertise.

What do you think?

I want to teach english in Japan and i heard that it's hard for Indians to be 'accepted' in Japan.

Their is apparantly NO indians in Japan what so ever and they have no Sikh Temples and nowhere to buy indian clothes and food etc

And the apparantly hate our culture and hate our people.

I received an email from someone in Japan, very important to me, and I cannot read it.

When I open it, it is just crazy characters, that are not Japanese, they are just symbols.

I'm graduating next year, and want to go to Japan to teach English for a year.
My freshman year I studied abroad in Japan for 2 1/2 months and loved every minute of it. I stayed in a smaller city during that time which was amazing, but this time around I want to experience the city life in Tokyo. I've heard that JET often places you in small rural communites (which I don't want), but I'm not sure if this is true or not. In your experience, what company is the best with regaurds to placing, pay, work hours (less is better), and vacation--or just in general, which are the better companies, and which ones should I avoid? Thanks!
