When it comes to money I don't think there is a color issue anywhere. However, one thing that is surely noticeable is that Filipinos are obsessed with being white. I suspect that when white people come here they feel like some sort of living Gods. I prefer Filipinas that are proud of their natural look and brown skin as they have always been known to be. Really, as a western guy if I want to see white women I would go to Europe where I would find natural white ladies who by the way are less interested in color. Some advice though in your quest to be white, go all the way with the other features that still make you look Filipino. Whitening creams and injections don't completely finish the job.

That answer about the entertainment in the Phils is not entirely accurate when it comes to dating. The power of money and american media has made it's mark on most cultures in the world, especially where we have had military bases. My current gf is filipina and during to process of "selecting" her, I have spoken with dozens of "pinay" who expressively told me that they prefer black men. I'm sure everyone has different experiences, but my last gf was Colombian and the media there doesn't even reflect the majority of the population views. Almost every family there has black people in it somewhere and the girls there are not majority "light skinned" lovers. They tend to judge men by their personalities.

Yeah, Filipino women like black men, but NOT ALL women here like blacks. Most of Filipino women are attracted to foreigners. Especially if you are goodlooking, well-mannered and lots of money. Don't be offended if you see some Filipinas share furtive and conspirational laughters if they see you, as my female cousins, friends and classmates do. Because in the Philippines big black guys are perceived to have BIG c**k, but surely they like guys who have BIG c**k.

personal preference like most say here, but in any culture you'll find women that just love black men, also that just love white, or Hispanic, or tall or short, or strong or thin, you name it and women will love it. like us men, some of us love boobs, some love butts, some love blonde's, some brunettes, some love black women, Asian women, Latin women, white women. you'll find many women there i think that are interested in you, for several reasons, your color difference, your being a westerner, and so on.
