P500,000.00. You have to consider the pre-operating expenses like: the place to be refurbished and repainted, you don't have to place all your computer units on the floor so you need tables/racks, chairs. You need at least 1 airconditioning unit, glass windows and doors. The electrical system and various cable connections must be safely situated. The provision of a rest room is a must if it is not available in the vicinity. Advance rental costs should also be considered.
And at least a 3 months working capital is needed during early operations.

It depends on the units that you will buy, whether midrange quality or high end, and also the location of your internet cafe. You can actually get from Smart Bro or MY DSL (PLDT). Smart Bro has these terms-1 pc. wireless connection DP2,600 + 2,600x12months; MY DSL I think would cost you about 250K-350K. If you're near schools or offfices, your rent may take you 15K-20K, it depends. My brother used to work with an internet cafe, they had an average of 20K expenses per month and the location is not that near to any schools or offices.

Where will you be starting the cafe?
New or old computers?
I have a friend who refurbishes computers and can help you set them up. I don't know how much he charges but I do think his price will be reasonable. He lives in Paranaque City.
E-mail me with details and I will contact him.
