If i am traveling from texas to Colorado do i need a photo Id to get on a plane? Im 17 and i plan on traveling alone to live with family. I do not have a photo ID .. does that mean I can not travel by plane?

Alright, I've never traveled via airplane, but i know they have restrictions on what you can bring on board... my friends were trying to tell me about carry-ons and what not but IT MADE NO SENSE! So if you could clear that up as well as-

a- if i can bring my ipod on board
b- if i can bring drawing utensils/paper on board (colored pencil, ink pen, eraser, etc.)
c-What foods i can bring on
d-any other misc. information

please help! I'm getting very overwhelmed!!!!!

We are flying to US in June and we have heard that at check in, sometimes you can be upgraded for free if there is space? What is the best way to do this? Someone suggested saying we had just got engaged? Has anyone ever done this successfully, or know of a good tip or sure fire winner?

I am a little concerned about the new regulation as stated above... does anyone have any more details on that or know where I can obtain more info?

I am planning to keep my contact lens solution (around 120ml) and probably my makeup remover (120ml) in my hand carry as I don't want to take the risk of those items spoiling if kept in the check-in luggage (my luggage could end up heated up at the bottom of the plane and those items are heat sensitive), but I was told that it might not be allowed.

Also, is it okay to keep lens solution in the check-in luggage? Will the heat spoil the solution?

Why is it that when people get on an airplane, the first thing they gotta do is go pee? When there are plenty of nice fresh bathrooms in the airport concourse!! That's erks me to no end. Then they order all these beverages and get up when the "fasten seat belt sign comes on". And then get upset when you ask them to take their seats. I don't get it!!!

What are some good airline ticket price comparison sites other than travelocity or expedia??? I'm traveling to San Diego during August coming out of knoxville, TN I was wondering if anyone had some good sites or ways to find good deals for airline tickets??? I used travelocity to find the ticket prices then booked on the airlines website to avoid the booking fee and i flew on a wed. and out of nashville instead of mcghee tyson last year and i think i ended up around 249 round trip
