My dog weighs about 19 lbs. If she travels in a pet carrier that fits under the seat in a plane is she permitted to fly in cabin? The airlines seem to give the dimensions for the size of the carrier, but weight seems to be questionable. Does anyone know? Please help!

it states that breifcases are allowed in addition to the initial carry on bag. I do not plan on taking any checked luggage, and thus, I would like to know if I can take my backpack and my messenger bag onto the plane. They both meet the measurement requirements.

If it were you screening my luggage, would you accept a messenger bag as a breifcase?


(I know, stupid question, but I'd rather be safe than sorry)

Im leaving to Morelia michoacan this summer, departing from Tijuana's airport, i want to take many electronic devices with me which are: a laptop, home stereo, 20' LCD tv, Xbox 360, Media projector and a psp. what i want to know is if there will be any problems? not related to weight, because im going with six family members therefore i can take up to 300 Kilos in weight with all of us combined.
Last time i went, i only took a ps2,psp, my laptop and other small things and i was asked how much i paid for each thing and they looked at me in a way like "so you are taking $1200 dollars worth of electronic devices?" kind of way

i just need to know if there is anything i should know before i take all of this things i listed?

If I buy an airline ticket now at a special rate ,(to avoid a rise in prices ) and they say it's non-refundable, will they let me use the ticket if the flight had to be cancelled on the actual date of departure, due to a hurricane threat?
I am going with a group and the group does not know this answer. We are flying by Continental Airlines.

I will be taking my first flight (and first time even in an airport) on the 10th with one stop that will be 30 minutes...what should I be do when it's my layover? Do I get my luggage and carry it to the next plane or do they do that automatically? Is there anything I need to know or be aware of before I fly? I will be flying on Delta Airlines with a stop in Salt Lake City (I'm leaving from Birmingham, AL to Anchorage, AK). Thanks!

I noticed when a plane has stopped, you are not allowed to take your seatbelt off straight away, so you are waiting before the seatbelt light turns off before you can make your way off the plane, in that waiting time, what actually are you waiting for.

I have only flown a couple of times, and need to know what happens if you miss a conecting flight due to a delay? my mother in law and sister in law are currently sitting on the runway in dallas and im pretty sure they are going to miss thier connecting flight in detroit. i have to travel an hour and a half with a 6 day old baby to pick them up, so i am trying to figure out what to do? In spite of following the directions, the Earplanes don't seem to go in as deep as they should, but I've never had trouble inserting earplugs for swimming or noise. Since my ears blocked anyway, I'm wondering if I'd do just as well (and spend less) with earplugs.
