My dog weighs about 19 lbs. If she travels in a pet carrier that fits under the seat in a plane is she permitted to fly in cabin? The airlines seem to give the dimensions for the size of the carrier, but weight seems to be questionable. Does anyone know? Please help!

You will want to go to the airlines website to find out what their requirements are. They might be different for each airlines.

As far as I know, as long as the carrier fits under the seat, it's fine. Weight might vary by airline, so check with specific ones.

Every airline is different. It best to call and ask. They also limit the amount of animals per cabin. If you haven't told them yet you might be SOL for your flight.
