Some planes have individual vents for each passenger. You control them by twisting the vent.

Yes there is, and this is done through the air conditioning system ,Two Main Ducts is taken air from the Airplane engines, One Per engine, those pipes are extended through the wing to the airplane belly to a compartment Called Air conditioning Bay, Now the initial air from the atmosphere which is sucked by the engines at a range of -50 to -65 Degrees "C" (depending on aircraft higher altitude) enter through the ducts to the air conditioning unites , this air is regulated( Pressure and Temperature adjusted) in the ducts that goes to inside the cabin walls and through Air vents is pushed to the ceiling in a circular manner to the entire interior body of the aircraft, In principle those unites works same as in your house or office, and the pilot's job is selecting the desired temperature in the three cabin zones of the aircraft , this is done by a Knob he increases and decreases the temp. accordingly. One fact you should know that, there are three outflow valves(Holes) under the aircraft, one forward,One in the middle, and one in the aft , these holes are also regulated to semi open and close to dump the air from the Cabin , It's important to know that every two minuets the entire air inside the aircraft's Cabin is replaced by fresh air from the Air conditioning system and then dumped outside the Aircraft.

Yes there is, the pilot draws air from the engine compressers
to pressurize the cabin as well as change the air. One reason
airlines started having no smoking flights was it takes less
air to maintain the cabin air quality and therefore they save fuel.
