Doin´t forget your parachute, just kidding. For me flying is great, the food is nice, the service great, and the girls are pretty. Movies, games, etc. You should try to get an Ilse seat. Bon voyage.

China is a long trip of course. With technology you can make it pass much quicker than "the old days". Handheld video games, portable DVD, MP3 player, or traditional book will help pass the time.
If you can hold you bladder for a long time you might want to get a window seat. This way YOU don't have to keep getting up if you're on the aisle for the guy next to you who has to take a pee every 15 minutes. If you have to go every 15 minutes than you should get the aisle.
If you're not sleeping be sure to get up frequently to stretch and drink plenty of water.

Know that turbulence is normal. Sometimes weather is good and you have a smooth flight, but other times things can get a little shaky. Don't be frightened by this.
Airplanes are kept nice and cool (like an air conditioned mall), so wear a sweater or bring one in your carry-on bag.
Like others said, bring a book, sudoku's, crossword puzzles, music, etc. to entertain you.
Have a fun trip!!

if youre flying from the US the trip will be very long....and boring! Catch up on the security rules (liquid rules etc). Flying can be very interesting. also bring gum to chew on when the plane takes off because you may not be used to the pressure and your ears will pop. Make sure you have your ID on you at all times. and dont wear antying in your clothes that will set off metal detectors...(change...etc) besides when yuo get to security they will make you take out anything anyway...have fun!!

Not at all.Just stay calm and have a nice trip. But follow directions. The directions can actually save your life. There is most of the times going to be a video knowing how to get through stuff if something goes wrong.Like if it lands on water, landing on land,or is losing air,you should always follow the directions.

Its exciting. Do keep sum chewing gums and chew them when you feel funny in ears. It happens because of pressure differences that develops when the plane is ascending or descending. Next thing is the 'jet-lag'. I hope somebody is going to tell you in the answere.

Bring a good, long book. Try and reserve an aisle seat - it helps immensely and you DON'T want to get stuck in the middle of the center section on a 747. Bring some of your own food to snack on - airline food in coach is beyond bad.

If you are older, walk as much as you can on the plane to prevent blod clots. If you are young: You will be very bored.

Ear plugs. When my mom and I first flew her ears kept popping. But other than that just relax. I flew from Norfolk, VA to Rota, Spain and it wasn't that bad, just a long flight.
