It's quite obvious that they only go to South Africa and practically ignore the rest of Africa even though South Africa is richer than most African Countries.

Do you think she's meddling or doing some good and far better than the government alone? Opening schools and begging for schools to be opened... or is she a mere annoyance on behalf of the ordinary business man she's asking to check the depth of his pocket...to help out?

fellow south africans, i sit with a major dilemma. simba, my lion escaped last on sunday while i was taking him for a walk in my back yard.

i have tried all the usual things to get him back - hanging a buck from the thorn tree, sending drum signals to neighboring villages, all to no avail.

i even went to the inyanga and asked him to throw the bones, but he got nothing.

so please, if you see a lion wondering around, that answers to the name of simba, could you let me know?

my drum signal number is 400 bongo, 214 hollow tree, 94 empty bottle.

Had a good laugh when I saw the results of the presidential poll on Mugabe's website. Have a look. ;-)

I have just returned from SA. We went down to the Transkei and had such a good time. The locals there are so friendly and very helpful. We went to Silaka reserve, if you are interested in birds, beautiful beaches, fishing and just generally have a good time go there. We ate at the Ghecko Moon, quite expensive but delicious food. There pizza's are the best and it is the only decent restaurant in that area. It was brilliant, just thought i would tell you that it was as safe as anything there and am still alive. Go and enjoy , just make sure you have enough pounds things are quite expensive in SA at the moment and when they find out you are from UK they double charge. But Silaka was cheap. :)))

There's been all this chat about slowing down of property prices and your average person evnetually being able to afford a property again in South Africa. What do you think?

Blackmagic and/or Amandla are just one of those idiots who just want to rub people up the wrong way. The worst thing is we allow it, whilst they are just intrigued at the number of people they can agitate or the number of answers they can get...come on guys? After all this time, dont we know better?

I mean in general. I always hear people say that some nations are very forgiving and others are very patient. Some nations are very forthcoming. How about South Africans?

This is a "happy" question and shouldn't be taken too serious. Here goes: Imagine yourself on a hospital bed and about to have facial reconstruction, for whatever reason. The surgeon turns around and asks what South African celeb you would like to look like. Who do you choose and why?

And what do we, as South Africans, have to do to make it happen?

Ok, my wife´s boss´s wife (stick with me here) is seriously challenged, every evening i think she formats her brain, my wife´s boss has to leave instructions on the fridge for her every morning telling her what her name is, how she can find her way to work and not to worry about breakfast as she already ate. Actually she never ate already but she´s a real fat nelly.

(Ok, so this is not a true story but I really can see it, this women does not know her ar..s from her elbow!)

Ok, your turn, make me laugh.

...managed to reviel?
For me it has to be curiosity, especially from the black side.
A bag left on the road, a taxi stops to pick it up and drives off, in 15 seconds it comes to a screeching halt and everyone is throwing themselves out through windows and doors... (he put a snake in the bag)...double lol!!!

Have you read his comments about the crime in S.A, Mugabe, and the world cup?

http://www.spiegel.de/international/spiegel/0,1518,455681,00.html

"In other countries, newspapers and broadcast stations are patriotic and are far less interested in things that could damage their countries' reputations in the world"

"Criminality is always the result of poverty"
(Is that why there are so many criminals in government?)

"The Europeans often ignore the fact that Mugabe is very popular among Africans. In their eyes, he has given blacks their country back after centuries of colonialism."

"A few whites lost their lives in Zimbabwe, unfortunately, and already the West is bent out of shape."
(did we not hear that out of the mouth of Mugabe as well)

"China is becoming increasingly involved in Africa economically, buying raw materials...."
(Check out China´s involvement in Africa and Sudan - no scruples with their business policies...)

What do you think?
