What does Thabo REALLY mean when he says that people complaining about crime are racists?

Vango, I thought it best to leave that point to come up in the answers, but you are correct he specifically mentioned that white people are racists because they complain about crime.

Which makes me wonder whether he actually feels some pride about the crime if he get's upset when people, who include white people complain about it and it upsets him to the point of tossing up the old 'racists' comment

Should you translate this statement directly from "ANC dialect" to plain English, you'll find that they are actually admitting to the fact that the ANC has bitten off MUCH MUCH more than they are able to chew with regards to even just governing South Africa.

Aside from the astounding level of crime even with the world cup of soccer merely 3 years off, the lack of even basic management of the building contracts for stadiums and other new developments has spiraled almost out of con trol. "Struggle- buddies" being awarded with insanely high paying positions and other benefits even though they were initially, and still are, GROSSLY inexperienced and inadequate has become the norm here.

DO NOT dare to question the ANC's motives or methods though, as they will retaliate in the only way they have ever known, (throughout their "struggle to date") ...playing the race card!

Ignorance is more bliss-full in South Africa than anywhere else in the world it seems!

Look North to Mugabe and witness what awaits you. These Black Communists are all in bed together so consider it a warning shot across the Bows. The ANC have never made any secret of it that they want Whites off the African Continent and this is an ideology that goes way back to the days of Kenyatta and Nkrumah. Mbeki is a closet racist who is coming out into the open more and more. South Africa was the West's last hope of democracy on the African continent but once they gave control of it to the Communists then that was the end. You have watched a once great Country being run into the ground by greed,corruption and crime by a regime who are interested only in themselves. This is the African way and nothing will change it unless it is re-colonised but the danger this time around is that it will be the Chinese and look at the repressive Regime they have.

thabo is insinuating that the only people complaining are the white folk. personally i think more blacks are affected by crime than anything else.

the pres (iron liver mbeki) should read the constitution he holds so dear a little more clearly. south africans have the right to complain about discrimination based on skin colour. what i am trying to say is that iron liver is therefore discriminating directly against everybody by saying that only racists complain about crime.

when one listens to rooi oog mbeki, you should realise that he doesn't actually write anything that he says. he has speech writers who are advised by anc heirarchy on what to write.

these advisors, whoever they may be, have an agenda that is questionable. i personally think the current wave of crime is part of this agenda.

presently im traveling south america 4, 9 months & the one thing that ive got to thank heavens im s african for is the wonderfull training i recieved while living there.10 little girls aged 8 to 12 years recently tried to pick pocket me in rio de janeiro,short of slapping them about i decided to leggit down the rd with them throwing bits of pavement at me.i was really racisting down the road.

It's the only term he knows, so he tosses that at anyone saying anything he does is wrong. He's not competent enough to keep crime low, and has no control over it. He says it to try and look smart, not like the incompetent that he is who cannot keep his people safe as the constitution demands.
