This is not a travel question - but have to post it here on purpose.
I asked 4 weeks ago why this section here is more and more turning into a political forum. Received some answers. Choosed as best answer who answered me: I wonder about myself. - Now this particular answerer is posting political questions right here hisself. Well......guess he was right, can't change it.

So far so good. But did ever anybody noticed that's only okay to ask political question when they are pro Israel?. As soon as a question will be asked which is not pro Israel the same person will say right away: traveling section! No politics!

Last example of many is the answerer itay. On the question:Apartheid in Israel? He answered: not a travelling question. But right in here he was asking political questions and was even looking for a girl. What this has to do with TRAVEL?

If political issues come here, then pro Israelis should accept that, too.A question is a question also when asked in the wrong place.

Why is there a genocide in Darfur?

Russia could send peacekeeping troops to the Darfur region in Sudan RIGHT NOW…But won’t
The genocide is on a scale similar to the Jewish Holocaust of Hitler, yet many people say that there is not a "real threat” to us or our country. Darfur is in Sudan and therefore Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir is the local HITLER.
So I repeat my question…

Why is there a genocide in Darfur?

Thanks for the last info. I have decided to book to Egypt and to Sharm. Does anyone have information in the Sharm area or the St George 3 corners resort?
Also on the tipping - do you have to tip when you are All inclusive?
Does anyone recomend how to learn some basic Arabic phrases to try to make the effort?
Is is best to cover up (male & female) when going out side the resort? What about at beaches? I dont want to offend anyone in the area and understand thay they prefer to keep skin covered?
Sorry this is a bit long, but you seem to have good experiences out there!
Many thanks again

"The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government."
Thomas Jefferson

The Amended South African firearm control act of 2006 dictates that all gun owners must re-register their firearms. The process is (of course) painstakingly slow as it meanders through the politically correct and inefficient South African beaurocracy, with no guarantee of a renewed license.
Many of these weapons, that have been turned in to the backward and corrupt new South African police services, whilst awaiting renewal of the application, have miraculously found their way into the hands of violent criminals and used in robberies and murders.
The cops are criminals, too.

The first 'civilized' nation to enact gun control laws was Nazi Germany, in 1933.
Before a population can be overwhelmed, it first must be disarmed.

The talk doing the rounds is that the SACP / COSATU will break away and register as a political party, there is even talk that from within the party the younger members are planning to form a new party more inline with the needs of the people, a party catering for the muslim community will also spring up and have access to huge funding from middle east countries, is this the begining of real political turmoil in South Africa as never seen before. What next ????????????????
