Thanks for the last info. I have decided to book to Egypt and to Sharm. Does anyone have information in the Sharm area or the St George 3 corners resort?
Also on the tipping - do you have to tip when you are All inclusive?
Does anyone recomend how to learn some basic Arabic phrases to try to make the effort?
Is is best to cover up (male & female) when going out side the resort? What about at beaches? I dont want to offend anyone in the area and understand thay they prefer to keep skin covered?
Sorry this is a bit long, but you seem to have good experiences out there!
Many thanks again

The St. George Three Corners Resort is situated on the Um el Sid hill, a plateau between Na'ama bay and the old City Centre. Those lively shopping and nightlife centres are about 15 minutes drive away, the International Airport 17 km . ( u need to take a taxi or a bus to reach the above to main spots in sharm )
for more information about the hotel go to : http://www.threecorners.com/hotels/stgeorge.html

- Regarding tipping if u signed a tipping list when u order any service then no need to tip again but if not so we egyptian usually pay 5% of any pill as a tip

-No need to learn any arabic people there speaks good up to excellent english and some speaks other languages like italian dutch german and spanish.

-feel free to wear whatever , i wear bikini's , shorts , short scerts. 3/4 pants and sleevless shirts . go to any of sharm el sheikh party or beaches sites and see what people wearing

P.S if u r going before may so its better to carry a jacket with you

ohhhh.. this is long... :) enjoy ur stay ..bye

do no longer understand yet i'm going there next Sept and it seems attractive. We have been already there and that's all large and the lodges are all ideas-blowing. in case you have never been that's genuinely appropriate and Na'ama Bay is amazing and the department stores are fab. only one little bit of advice don't get lured in by using the shop keepers on the line area in Naama bay. only be friendly and walk on. the department stores on the city are attractive and you will walk around them yet whilst those on the roadside get you in they wont assist you bypass till you have offered loads of stuff and that they're going to take you thru loads of little lower back street and you'd be lost. do no longer enable it placed you off do exactly no longer below any situations end with them whether they do sound so superb. Their little tale would be something like "could you do me a favour attractive female" don't be fooled. i won't have the ability to attend to bypass lower back because of the fact the area is mind-blowing and the snorkelling is amazing and the appropriate fish.
