Egyptian weddings are so much fun
first there is katb el ketab and it is were you get married by al maazoon(tying the knot) this ceremony is before the wedding party itself.
the day before the wedding which is exactly the last day for the bride to sleep in her parents house is called "laylet al hena" we make a huge party for girls and ladies only no MEN, we dance and sing also we draw henna like tattoos it's like a batchelorette party
the groom goes with his friends and party outside.
for the wedding it can be held at a hotel, garden or even at a villa in the countryside
the groom brings the bride a diamond ring or gold with an amount of money both families agree to this is called "el shabka" he gives to the bride in the wedding but first everyone has to see it so it is put in a tray decorated with flowers and it goes round on the tables for the guests to see it.
then the groom"el arees" gives it to the bride"el aroosa" and they dance and sing then they open the buffet and cut the cake and that's all pretty much.

I am Egyptian , living in Egypt, but I have no idea what this "hadla" is. Check back again and add details to your question because all the answers that came to you are just guesses so far.
Addition:
Yep. Now it makes sense. Badla is suit in the Egyptian dialect.

You are right Egyptian weddings are big celebrations. The night before the wedding the family and friends of the bride celebrate with dancing and sometimes "Henna" decorations in the villages.
Hadia is gift in Arabic

In Egypt , muslims could do something called " katb el ketab " that's the religious area before the marriage occasion while they legally get married , then they have the marriage .. interior the weddings they have a DJ that performs music and songs , the bride and the groom the two invite their kin , kin participants and friends and that all of them have exciting . i don't understand if Christians right here get married in church then have a occasion or the marriage is barely interior the church .
