Why is there a genocide in Darfur?

Russia could send peacekeeping troops to the Darfur region in Sudan RIGHT NOW…But won’t
The genocide is on a scale similar to the Jewish Holocaust of Hitler, yet many people say that there is not a "real threat” to us or our country. Darfur is in Sudan and therefore Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir is the local HITLER.
So I repeat my question…

Why is there a genocide in Darfur?

I would support sending troops there, but my motives would not be the same as georgie clooneees. The problems in Darfur are being caused by ... guess who ... Islamofascists. Most places there is bloodshed in the world are caused by them. The problem is that President Bush would probably have sent in troops a long time ago if the leftists, democrats, and CAIR would stay off his back. Any time he looks at the possibility of killing more islamofascists, these groups start squealing about how he is persecuting muslims. The demand from murtha et.al. would be to "redeploy" our troops from Iraq to Darfur. That should not happen and would be a disaster. So he is stuck between a rock and a hard place. Send troops, he's killing more muslims, don't send them, he is letting genocide happen.

The solution of course would be for the libs to shut up and let him do his job, but that might cost the democratttts an election, so once again, the left is playing politics with lives.

The strongest military and economy in the world is the United States. If there is anyone to blame it is us, but its not totally our fault. Congress has passed about 5 tax breaks for mega rich people in the last four years. What's more important in america, thousands of starving, murdered children or some rich guy being able to afford 6 yacht instead of only 5?

The yachts of course.
