was watching a show about India this evening and noticed that most major places have changed their name. Bombay has become mumbai, Calcutta has become Kolkata, Madras has become Chennai. What is the reason? is it because the original were the british names?

The wife to my husbands uncle just had a baby so treed day was today. I didn't go but my m-i-l sent some treed over for me for after maghrib time.
The treed this time was made with almonds in it. It tasted like the same nut mixture they put into chicken bastilla (which I don't like) mixed with my treed! It completely ruined it!

Why did my mother in law do this? ;-( waaaa

I am planning on cruising the caribbean in january on the norwegian cruise line ship Spirit. I was just wondering if there really is a big difference between the oceanview and inside rooms on a cruise ship. does is really matter to have that tiny window? do u get clustrophobic without it? any opinions on this are helpful!

I am a short time US visitor with tourist visa. I want to visit Niagara falls in the US side. Don't want to go Canada side to avoid any visa problems.
I have a plan to spend 2 days in niagara falls. Since I am not familiar abou the place, your suggestions would be great to make my plan. Need suggestions about hotels, places to visit (for aged woman). Which one is better, staying near Buffalo airport or near falls?. If I stay near falls is it possible to visit all the attractions in near by areas by walk?. How much approximate taxi cab charge will be from Buffalo airport to hotel near by falls. Is it necessary to take a rental car to visit places?

Hi all,

I'm going Vegas in September and I have decided that I may as well try and win something. I AM NOT AT ALL INTO POKER - as I have a short attention span at times.

Hi! I'm planning on going to South Bend, IN in a few months, and I'm hoping to rent a car to drive around (I imagine its a lot more convenient than taking taxis everywhere).
