You can't get to either Taipei COSTCO (Neihu or Shijr) by MRT. The best you can do is take the Blue Line MRT to the eastern terminus (Kunyang Station one past Hoshanpi), and from there a taxi shouldn't cost more than NTD 100 or so to one or the other. They won't let you in unless you have a membership or buy one there and then. The good thing is that they sell liquor, and dish out free samples with the free samples.

Hi,
I go to the one in Neihu. The nearest MRT is Taipei City Hall and then Bus Green 2. This area has got Costco,Carrefour, RT Mart e.t.c. all in one place.

The other in Nangkang -Nearest MRT is Kunyang then bus Blue 15 but I think this is mainly for Automobile stuff like Wheels etc. It will be better to call them first and find out if they have what you want as they stock a lot of different items that is more suitable to the local market plus some stuff from the US.

Which part of Taiwan are you visiting and what kind of items are you looking to buy? If you want fancy stuff, try Taipei 101 or other big malls. If you want cheaper items, try the night markets. In every metropolitan area there are "districts" where the entire area consists of stores selling similar items (clothing, electronics, etc.). Find the right district and you really can talk price. In one street you can get many quotes and go buy the best one. You can even visit wholesale stores like Costco (there are local ones also). Very similar to the US equivalent just with local stuff.

MRT is not go to there, but you can ride MRT :
A) To NeiHu store:
Taipei city hall STN. then take bus "Blue 7" or "小2" to NeiHu store, cross on the MinChuan big bridge,see right side you can see costco building (bus get off at 新湖三路口).
Or ride to ZhongShan Junior High School STN. then take buses which is goes to NeiHu direction.

B)To Shih Chih store:
Ride MRT blue line to Kunyang STN. then take bus No.817, 藍１５,藍２２ or 藍２３, get off at 立茂工廠 bus stop, you can see costco.

C) To Chung Ho store:
Ride MRT to Dingxi STN No.2 exit.
then take bus No.5 or No.262 to "中和保養廠 stop" (the terminal stop),costco is near there.

In Taiwan ,Costco also called 好市多,
if you don't know where can find these bus stops ,ask people.
