I went to my post office and applied for a passport there, with expedited services. I was told that with expedited service the application is delivered to the passport processing location overnight.

I also heard that once the passport is ready to be sent out, with expedited service, overnight delivery to the person is done? Am I Right?

I ask because I leave to china in 5 days and still have no received it or gone to get my visa.

I have been to Vegas before and stayed at the excalibur (only b/c it was so cheap). I wanted to go back in April for my 26 birthday and was wondering a hotel that would be good my friends and I (ages 23-28). I wanted a hotel that is in a good location and does not have to many families and not outrageously expensive ( though I am willing to spend some money). It is going to be a pretty even mixture of girls and boys, couples and singles. Thanks for all your help.

I just moved from Brooklyn to Seattle and I get made fun of because of the way I talk. People will give me weird looks when I'm talkin to my mother or father. My accent is really thick anyway, but when I'm explainin somethin I get to talkin really fast and people say they can't understand me. One person in class even told me that I should go back to New York where they could understand me. I just wanted to know has anyone had this same problem and what did they do or if anyone has any idea of how to get rid of an accent. I've lived in New York my whole life and my mother wants me to take speech classes so I can get better. I try to talk slow sometimes so it wont show as bad, but that doesn't help either. Could someone help???

just turned 23 and unfortunately for me i got a job within a month after graduating college, because I was broke and just thought I was ready for the 'real worl'. but now 6 months later, i really regret not taking my time traveling, etc bc now Im stuck in a job that only gives me 2 weeks off! So I am planning a trip to Europe in late August and(in an atempt to keep my job) go for a little under 3 weeks.But after all my convincing, none of my friends can go with me! they are either broke, or not in the place to go.I thought Europe would only be an incredible experience if I had a great friend to go with me and share those memories with... but am I wrong? Do u think I could go alone and still have an amazing time? The good news is that Im very independant, sociable and smart but I always like to be around people. Do u think its worth it, or should I just wait another year or so until one of my frends would be able to go? It would suck to see the eifel tower& not hav an1 2 share it w/..

I am a sixteen year old with divorced parents currently living in CT with my dad. I want to move to Florida with my mom and my stepdad, but one thing I can't get off my mind is the heat. Will I get used to it because I love doing outdoor activites and I heat up quick. I would be moving to the gulf coast near tampa, could anyone tell me what its like. I leave on July 6, but my passport expires on July 9. Im also a minor, so I have a guardian flying with me. He bought the ticket early, and there are no more tickets. I have a travel agent friend who reserved me a seat, but he just flew to South Africa for the month. I need a seat with my guardian. What should I do? Also, we have a connecting flight in Dubai, UAE. My guardian is only staying for 3 hrs, but im staying for a day. I have friends in Dubai that can take care of me for 1 whole day, but the question is can I fly from Dubai to Lahore, Pakistan alone? Im 15, and my guardian is also flying to Lahore, but earlier. Im flying late, but I have more friends in Lahore. So can I fly to Lahore alone?

I am going to travel across europe for a little over two months. To go "backpacking" do you have to have an actual bag that you wear on your back, or does a suitcase and daybag suffice. OR do I realy need something that can fit everything on my back?
